The Eastern Suburbs Research Seminar series is a research collaboration of Eva Burrows College, St Athanasius College, Stirling Theological College and Yarra Theological Union.

|Julie Hotchin (YTU)
|Enclosed but not Isolated: Claustration in Late Medieval Convents.
Julie is based in Canberra and a PhD candidate at YTU.
|Shady Nessim (SAC)||The Coptic Icon and Divine Presence.
Shady has completed an MTheol at SAC, and his paper will bring to light four theologians of the Coptic Church in the medieval period who wrote about the meaning and purpose of the icon as a divine and mystical presence on earth.
|Sonia Jeffrey (EBC)||The Corporatisation of Religious Curriculum: A Vocational and Loyalty Dilemma.
This will be drawn from her recently completed Monash University Master’s thesis for which she earned an HD.
|Dr Penny Martin (Stirling)||Christian Leadership Formation for a Post Christian Australian Context.
Dean of Leadership Formation at Stirling Theological College who has completed a DMin.
