Friday, 19 August, 9:00 am12:00 pm AEST

“It is entirely possible to flourish at work!”

Professional development is an investment in continuing education and career training after a person has entered the workforce. Technologies, innovation, and best practices are constantly evolving and progressing, making it crucial for professionals to continue to work on a relevant skill set and knowledge base over the entirety of their career.

The University of Divinity invites you to consider participating in professional development with our team of innovative and experienced practitioners.

About this event

Narrative Therapy is a respectful, non-blaming approach to counselling and community work, which centres people as the experts in their own lives.

It views problems as separate from people and assumes people have many skills, competencies, beliefs, values, commitments, and abilities that can assist them to reduce the influence of problems in their lives.

This session will be facilitated by Nicole Conner, the founder of Defining stories, a narrative practice operating out of Fitzroy North, Melbourne Victoria – https://definingstories.com.au. Nicole holds a Masters degree in Narrative Therapy and Community Work from the University of Melbourne.
