Artful Conversations in Suffering and Faith

Monday, 24 June, 7:00 pm9:00 pm AEST

How do we discover faith in the midst of extreme suffering? Take the opportunity to consider the experience of suffering in both the release of a new academic work, “Suffering in Paul”, and the thoughtful, artistic expressions of a gifted artist. Theologians, artist, and community join in an artful conversation in suffering and faith.

Featuring:

  • Zohreh Izadikia is an artist who has exhibited on a number of occasions. As a refugee, art has become a language of faith and hope.
  • Sean Winter is Head of Pilgrim College, the theological college of the Uniting Church Synod of Victoria and Tasmania.
  • Siu Fung Wu is Lecturer in New Testament studies at Whitley College.

You will be able to purchase a copy of Siu Fung Wu’s new book, “Suffering in Paul”, for a discounted price of $35!
